First of all, Wellness Association is a charity and a not-for profit-based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We have been helping people access alternative healing options since the days when chia was a pet and hemp hearts were illegal. So, that gives you an idea of where we are coming from.

Simply said, this project is all about equal access to alternative health care services.

As successful as the health and wellness movement has been, there are a lot of people who are locked out due to the size of their bank account.

It’s one thing for someone to not prioritize their health spending. It is another to be left to decide between a service that can change your life and whether or not you can pay your rent.

Being a Canadian, I am bred to believe that those situations are fundamentally unfair, or at least very bad. So we should change that, right???

Solution! Start with four major categories:

• Natural Medicine
• Mental Health Support
• Fitness
• Nutrition

Service them with credentialed professionals.

Provide the platform for online sessions, that are at least one hour.

Then charge regular people $40 or $50 depending on the type session.

We think that practitioners and clients can meet under those terms. As long as the charity does its part of taking care of the fun stuff like Facebook marketing, lawyers, and accounting!!
